Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my own liquor?
If you want to bring your own liquor you will need to obtain a liquor license at your own expense.
What kind of decor do you offer?
I have a beautiful two piece floral archway and numerous battery operated candles in glass vases that are set up along the altar. There is also a welcome sign, signing table, and cake table set up.
Where do the weddings take place?
Wherever you want! I serve locations throughout Amherst, Sackville, and surrounding areas. If you are unsure of a venue, I have many different suggestions I can provide you with. Please note that the venue fee is not included in the package fee as that is dependent on where you choose to get married and will be added on once you decide.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I ask for a minimum of four weeks to ensure all the vendors are available. The later you book, the less likely the vendors and venue you want will be available.
Can we have a wedding party stand with us?
Of course! Just note that members of the wedding party will be counted within your guest count number.
Is there a reception afterwards?
Although I only cover the ceremony, you are more than welcome to do whatever you wish afterwards.
What if i live in a different province then where I want to get married?
You just have to make sure that your marriage license is obtained in the province you are getting married.
Will other weddings be happening the same day?
No. Unlike other pop up and micro weddings, ‘Be Our Guest’ is entirely private, meaning no other weddings will be booked before or after your wedding. The day is curated just for you, your partner, and your guests.
Why are your prices higher for weddings in New Brunswick?
Officiants in New Brunswick charge a higher fee opposed to ones in Nova Scotia. Therefore, my pricing reflects the difference in the costs between the two provinces.
